Apple Arcade adds 6 new games, taking total to 100
iOS subscription service reaches new milestone
Apple has added six new games to Apple Arcade, taking the total number of titles on the subscription service to 100.
Apple Arcade launched in September priced at $4.99/£4.99 a month, although new users can sample the subscription service free for one month. The service offers unlimited access to a large library of new games rolling out this autumn for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV.
Apple Arcade games won’t be available on any other mobile platform or in any other subscription service. Every title is playable offline and none feature advertisements or microtransactions.
Apple said in a statement on Friday: “We will continue adding new games, carefully ensuring that each curated addition offers something new and unique to the portfolio, and continues to deliver high quality, value and fun.”
