Annapurna Interactive will hold its next games showcase in July

Annapurna Interactive has confirmed plans to present another games showcase on July 28.

The celebrated indie publisher announced the event with a teaser trailer, which is viewable below.

Annapurna promises “reveals, announcements, and much more” when the showcase airs on July 28 at 12pm PT / 3pm ET / 8pm BST / 9pm CEST.

Annapurna, which was named VGC’s 2019 Games Publisher of the Year, held its first games showcase in July 2021.

Titles on show at the event included The Artful Escape, A Memoir Blue, Storyteller, Solar Ash, Skin Deep, Outer Wilds, Neon White and Stray.

Most of these these games have or will have been released by the time next month’s showcase airs, including Stray, which arrives on July 19.

In a Stray preview published on VGC earlier this week, BlueTwelve producer Swann Martin-Raget discussed what it’s been like to work with Annapurna on the game.

“They have been involved with us since very early in the project,” he said.

“We were developing the company and building a team, and their help has been tremendous from the very beginning to today in all the very important parts of the project – the conception, the pre-production, giving a lot of feedback throughout the way.”

Martin-Raget added: “They really leave creative freedom to the creators.

“The only place where they give feedback is when something is really important, or there’s not the full picture that we cannot really see.

“But it’s definitely the game we wanted to make, and there were no hard discussions whatsoever, it was always very helpful.”
