Amazon UK is selling Xbox Series S for £189
The Black Friday offer sees a large saving of £60 off the usual £249 price
Amazon UK has slashed the price of the Xbox Series S as part of its Black Friday sales.
The console, which usually costs £249.99 in the UK, now costs £189.99 on Amazon UK.
This works out at a saving of £60, meaning a discount of nearly 25%. It also appears to be the only current-gen console Amazon is discounting as part of Black Friday.
Update
Microsoft’s UK Black Friday deals also include Xbox Series S for £189.99 until November 28.

Amazon is also selling the Robot White, Pulse Red, Carbon Black and Electric Volt Xbox wireless controllers for £34.99 instead of £54.99, a saving of around 35%.
The discount follows Microsoft’s own Black Friday sale, which started last week and also saw a price drop for the Series S.
In the US, the console’s price was dropped from $299 to $249, while in Canada it was dropped from $379 to $319.
The UK Microsoft Store has also seen its own Series S price reduction from £249 to £209, though this is still £20 more expensive than Amazon’s current deal.
The Series S price drop, while temporary, may lead to further comparisons with the PlayStation 5, which in August received a price increase in most of the world (with the US being a notable exception).
Following Sony’s announcement, the UK arms of both Microsoft and Nintendo told VGC that they weren’t currently planning to raise console prices.
However, Microsoft‘s head of gaming Phil Spencer then suggested last month that Xbox consoles, games and/or subscriptions may increase in price in the future.
“I think at some point we’ll have to raise the prices on certain things,” Spencer said at WSJ Tech Live, “but going into the holiday we thought it was important to maintain the prices.”
He added: “We’ve held price on our console, we’ve held price on games […] and our subscription. I don’t think we’ll be able to do that forever. I do think at some point we’ll have to raise some prices on certain things.”
