Amazon Prime is giving away 30 games on Prime Day, including Mass Effect Legendary Edition
Prime members can claim 25 indie games in the next month at no extra charge
Amazon has revealed a host of ‘free’ titles set to be made available to Prime Gaming members.
In the run-up to and coinciding with its annual shopping event, Amazon Prime Day, the retail giant is giving away more than 30 games.
This year, Amazon Prime Day will take place over two days, from July 12-13, the company announced on Thursday.
During Prime Day, Prime members will be able to claim over 30 free games including Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, Grid Legends, Need for Speed Heat and Star Wars Jedi Academy.
And from June 21 until July 13, Prime members can also start “freeloading more than 25 free indie games instantly”.
Games on offer will include Death Squared, Fatal Fury Special, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, Gone Viral, Hue, Metal Slug 2, Pumped BMX Pro, Samurai Shodown II, The Darkside Detective and The King of Fighters 2002.
Prime Gaming, which is available as part of an Amazon Prime subscription, offers members new PC titles to keep and exclusive in-game content every month.
June’s free Prime Gaming titles are Far Cry 4, Escape from Monkey Island, Astrologaster, Across the Grooves, Calico and WRC 8 FIA World Rally Championship.
Amazon‘s US arm is currently running a ‘3 for the price of 2’ promotion on a range of products including video games, featuring some of this year’s biggest titles like Elden Ring and Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
Amazon recently acquired the streaming rights to a TV adaption of Sony’s God of War series.
The iconic action-adventure franchise is reportedly being adapted for TV by The Expanse creators/executive producers Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby and The Wheel of Time executive producer/showrunner Rafe Judkins.
