All future boxed PC games from THQ Nordic will receive ‘very limited’ print runs
Purchasers will receive serially numbered prints of standard and eligible collector’s editions
All future physical PC releases from THQ Nordic will receive a “very limited” print run, the publisher has announced.
It said upcoming games including Gothic 1 Remake, Alone in the Dark and Trine 5 will have a limited print run with serially numbered prints of their standard editions and eligible collector’s editions.
Only “a small amount” of physical copies of its PC games will be made available, all of which will be sealed and premium packaged.
Number 1 to number 10 (or #25, or #50) will be sold through its THQ Nordic Vienna Store, with another batch made available online via its international stores, or offered to selected retail partners.
The very last number of each limited print run will always be provided to the Embracer Games Archive, which currently houses some 70,000 games, consoles and accessories in Karlstad, Sweden.
