After PS Plus issues, PS5 Final Fantasy 7 Remake owners can now claim Intergrade
The problem preventing them from redeeming the game has now been resolved
The issue discovered earlier this week which prevented some players from claiming Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium has now been fixed.
Intergrade was added to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers on Tuesday, but it quickly emerged that players who already owned a copy of Final Fantasy VII Remake on PS5 were unable to claim the game.
This is because Intergrade is a bundle consisting of the PS5 version of Final Fantasy VII Remake and the new episode Intermission, which is a spin-off story featuring Yuffie as the main playable character.
When trying to claim Intergrade through PS Plus Extra or Premium, players were getting an error message saying the bundle clashed with their existing PS5 version of Final Fantasy VII Remake.
As a result, while everyone else was able to claim Intergrade as part of their Extra or Premium subscription, the only way PS5 FFVII Remake owners could access the Intermission DLC was by buying it for £15.99 / $19.99.
However, as reported by XGP, this issue has now been resolved and Intergrade can now be claimed by players who already own the PS5 version of Final Fantasy VII Remake.
VGC has tested this and confirmed it works. When attempting to claim Intergrade earlier this week with a PlayStation Plus Premium account which already had the PS5 Final Fantasy VII Remake installed, we were receiving the error message.
As of today, though, Intergrade can now be claimed on the PlayStation Plus section of the PS5 dashboard. If the PS5 FFVII Remake is already installed, the console will download just the Intermission DLC to make the package complete.
