A white Xbox Series X console has been spotted in a Logitech advert
Outside of special editions, Microsoft’s console has only been available in black since launch
A new Logitech advert shows what appears to be a white version of Microsoft’s Xbox Series X console.
Outside of special editions, Xbox Series X has only been available in black since its November 2020 launch.
But a white version of the console is on display in a newly released advert for Logitech’s Astro A30 gaming headset, which is viewable below.
Update
A Microsoft spokesperson told VGC:
“The white Xbox Series X console for the promotional video by our partner is not in production. We have no plans to release the Xbox Series X console in white at this time.”
VGC has contacted Microsoft to ask if there are plans to launch a white version of the Xbox Series X, or if the console featured in the Logitech video is a bespoke one created for the advert.
Earlier this week, Logitech announced G Cloud, an Android-powered gaming handheld which is compatible with Xbox Cloud Gaming, Steam Link and Nvidia’s GeForce Now.
Launching on October 17 for $349.99, G Cloud features a 7-inch HD touchscreen, 12+ hour battery life, haptics, gyroscope and remappable controls.
Microsoft launched a white version of the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller on Wednesday, when Xbox’s September update also began rolling out.
Key features of the update include a library revamp and new storage and default install options on Xbox consoles.
The new Xbox party chat noise suppression feature, which launched for Xbox Series X/S earlier this month, is now available for Xbox One consoles and Windows PCs too.
Microsoft recently began testing a new Xbox dashboard ahead of its launch in 2023.
