A Pokémon Presents is set for August, mobile game code suggests
Dataminer finds reference to a new presentation
A datamine has suggested that the next Pokémon Presents live stream could take place in August.
According to known Pokémon dataminer CentroLeaks, a line of code found in the latest update for mobile game Pokémon Masters EX refers to an in-game campaign relating to a Pokémon Presents presentation. The campaign is due to start on August 8, according to the files.
Every recent Pokémon Presents presentation has featured a tie-in event in-game, meaning if this leak is accurate, we could see a broadcast on August 8.
While Pokémon doesn’t currently have a new main series game, or remake announced, the first expansion for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is planned for release later this year.
Announced in February, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 1: The Teal Mask and Part 2: The Indigo Disk will be released this fall/autumn and winter 2023 respectively.
Both parts of the expansion will introduce older Pokémon not found in the Paldea region. These will include Milotic, Nintetails, Shiftree, Metagross, Seel and Aclremie.
Players who pre-order the expansion will be provided with a new uniform set, which will differ depending on which base game they have.
As an early purchase bonus, players who buy the expansion before October 31 will receive a Hisuian Zoroark that isn’t obtainable in the Paldea region
