A new Xbox Game Pass day one release has been confirmed
Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders will be available on Game Pass at launch next week
Megagon Industries has announced a January 21, 2025, release date for Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders.
The indie developer and publisher has also confirmed that the Steam and Xbox release will be available on Game Pass for console at launch.
Snow Riders is the follow-up to 2019’s mountain bike game Lonely Mountains, which has scores of 79 (Xbox One), 80 (PS4 and PC) and 84 (Switch) on review aggregation site Metacritic.
“Snow Riders is a game that balances serious challenge with a relaxing atmosphere,” reads an official description for the game, which supports 2-8 player cross-platform multiplayer.
“Slice through deep snow, skitter over ice lakes, and leap into the air in spectacular jumps, bringing your friends along for the ride.
“Work your way down the mountain as a team in co-op, carefully sharing your limited checkpoints, or compete in a breakneck race to the base in versus mode.”
EA Sports UFC 5 and Diablo joined Game Pass today. Other additions to the service this month include Road 96, Lightyear Frontier, My Time at Sandrock, Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders, and Rolling Hills.
Microsoft is expected to announce January’s remaining additions to the subscription service in the coming days.
Call of Duty: World at War and Singularity are reportedly coming to Game Pass later this year.
