A month after release, Marvel’s Midnight Suns is 33% off on all platforms

2K Games has significantly discounted Marvel’s Midnight Suns just a month after the game’s December 2 release.

All four editions (Standard, Enhanced, Digital+ and Legendary Edition) of the Firaxis-developed strategy title are currently discounted by 33% (based on 2K’s SRP) on console and PC digital marketplaces.

The offer is available on Steam and Microsoft Store until January 16, on PlayStation Store until January 18, and on Epic Games Store until February 9.

While the game has been widely well-received, such a notable discount this early in its lifecycle could potentially signal that its publisher has been disappointed with its commercial performance.

According to GfK sales data published on GamesIndustry.biz, Midnight Suns failed to make a list of the UK’s 100 best-selling games of 2022.

Midnight Suns is currently available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC, with Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions to follow at a later date.

VGC’s 5-star Marvel Midnight Suns review praised the game’s writing, characters, varied play-styles and generous campaign.
