A guide to Mario Kart Tour’s Paris tour

Mario Kart Tour’s Paris tour has begun, adding a number of new characters, karts, gliders and challenges.
The two-week event adds the Paris Promenade course, along with time-limited characters Peach (Vacation) and Shy Guy (Pastry Chef). The full list of new Paris content is listed below.
The Paris tour ends on November 19 at 10pm PT (6am BT).
DeNA will hold a beta test for “real-time” Mario Kart Tour multiplayer in December, the game’s developer has announced. The beta test will be limited to subscribers of the game’s paid Gold Pass.
New Mario Kart Tour Paris characters
Mario Kart Tour’s Paris event adds three new characters, two of which are limited-time unlocks.
In addition to the already announced Peach (Vacation), the Paris Tour adds Shy Guy (Pastry Chef). Both of these characters will be the Spotlight drivers for the event, meaning they will be significantly rare and time-limited.
In addition, Toad (Pit Stop) has been added with the Paris tour but won’t be limited to the event.
Peach (Vacation)’s special skill is Coin Box, Shy Guy (Pastry Chef)’s is Mushroom Cannon and Toad (Pit Stop)’s is Boomerang Flower.
New Mario Kart Tour Paris karts
Mario Kart Tour’s Paris event adds six new karts, two of which are limited-time unlocks.
The Macharon kart and Carrot kart are the two spotlight items, meaning they will be significantly rare and time-limited.
Another high-end kart, the Gold Train, has also been added with the Paris tour, along with super karts Streamliner and White Royale, and standard kart Pink Mushmellow.
New Mario Kart Tour Paris gliders
Mario Kart Tour’s Paris event adds three new gliders, two of which are limited-time unlocks.
The Strawberry Crepe and Le Tricolore are the two spotlight items, meaning they will be significantly rare and time-limited.
The third new Paris addition is the super glider BaNaNa Parafoil.
New Mario Kart Tour challenge guide
Finish a race by crashing over the finish line: This challenge is most easily achieved by placing a banana on the finish line at the end of your first lap and hitting it during the second.
Do 10 Ultra Mini-Turbo boosts: This is most easily achieved on Koopa Troopa Beach.
Earn a score of 7,000 with using a driver with short sleeves: For this challenge players must use Wario, Baby Peach, Baby Daisy, Baby Rosalina or Daisy.
