Nintendo has said it will continue to add more music to the app as time goes on. At the time of writing it now has 34 soundtracks with a total running time of more than 85 hours.
The running time can be made longer for some of these, because Nintendo has given the option to loop some tracks and extend their length to 15, 30 or 60 minutes.
The current list of available soundtracks spans almost the entirety of Nintendo’s home video game history, with soundtracks for games released on NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii, Switch, Game Boy, GBA and Nintendo DS.
Highlights include the soundtracks for the Donkey Kong Country trilogy, Star Fox 64, Metroid Prime, the Wii Channels, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Pikmin 4 and Splatoon 2 and 3.
The Wind Waker is the fourth Zelda soundtrack to be added to the app, joining Ocarina of Time, Skyward Sword and Breath of the Wild.
There are also currently six Mario game soundtracks on the app – Super Mario Bros, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island, Super Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Bros Wonder and Super Mario Odyssey.
