A Call of Duty Black Ops 6 teaser website has seemingly been uncovered

A teaser website for the next Call of Duty game has seemingly been uncovered.

This year’s Call of Duty is reportedly a new Black Ops game set in the 1990s during the Gulf War, with development being led by Treyarch.

The teaser website (truthlies.com/1) includes a video seemingly referencing the last Black Ops game, 2020’s Cold War, which included multiple endings in which the player could choose to tell the truth or lie about the location of antagonist Perseus.

Update

A second teaser video is now available on the website.

The Xbox Games Showcase – the first to include games across Activision Blizzard, Bethesda, and Xbox Game Studios – will be livestreamed on June 9.

It will be followed by a mystery product showcase, where it’s expected that this year’s Call of Duty game will be fully unveiled.

Before then, evidence uncovered by dataminers has suggested the game could be revealed this month through an in-game event in Call of Duty Warzone.

It was recently claimed that this year’s Call of Duty title will be included in Game Pass at release.

If correct, it would mark the first time a Call of Duty game has been included in such a service at launch, and would mean for players with access to Xbox platforms, the entry cost for the game could be as little as $11.

However, it’s been claimed that Xbox will make changes to the current Game Pass model when the next Call of Duty is released, which could see it increase subscription prices.
