2024 Pokémon World Championships location revealed
The event will return to the US after two years
The Pokémon Company has revealed the location of the 2024 Pokémon World Championships.
Next year’s event will take place from Honolulu Hawaii. The event, which will see the World Championship tournament finals for Pokémon VGC, Pokémon TCG, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon Unite, returns to the United States after two years.
The 2022 event took place in London, and this year’s event hailed from Yokohama Japan. 2022’s event was the first Pokémon World Championships to take place outside of the US.
The Pokémon World Championships wrapped up overnight. The winners of the various events were:
Pokémon TCG (Masters Division)
- 1st – Vance Kelley ($25,000 Prize)
- 2nd – Tord Reklev
- 3/4 – Michael Pramawat / Azul Harcia Griego
Pokémon VGC (Masters Division)
- 1st – Shohei Kimura ($10,000 Prize)
- 2nd – Michael Kelsch
- 3/4 – Federico Camporesi / Mao Harada
Pokémon VGC (Masters Division)

During the finals of the Pokémon World Championships, The Pokémon Company debuted a new trailer confirming several returning Pokémon.
It appears that the missing starters from every generation of Pokemon; Chespin, Scorbunny, Chimchar, Totodile, Squirtle, Tepig, Snivy, Rowlet, Treecko, Mudkip, and Fennekin, will be encounterable in the wild as part of the upcoming DLC: The Indigo Disk.
