WWE 2K24 – Where’s my 40 Years of WrestleMania edition content?
Find out how to get the extra character outfits included with the bonus 40 Years of WrestleMania DLC
WWE 2K24 is out now, but if you bought the 40 Years of WrestleMania edition you may be wondering where your extra content is.
We’ve got the answer for you here, but it may not be one you like.
For those not aware, the 40 Years of WrestleMania edition of WWE 2K24 is the most expensive version of the game, costing $120 / £105, because it comes with an extra content pack.
The pack, which costs $20 / £18 separately, includes the following bonus content:
- Showcase Superstars Roster Unlock
- WrestleMania 40 Arena
- “Macho King” Randy Savage – WrestleMania 6
- Rey Mysterio – WrestleMania 22
- Triple H – WrestleMania 30
- Charlotte Flair – WrestleMania 33
- Rhea Ripley – WrestleMania 36
- Gold MyFACTION for ALL cards of the above
When you start playing the game, then, you should be expecting to have one new arena, five new superstar attires and five new MyFaction cards.
Instead, all you’ll get just now is the Roster Unlock, which gives you all the unlockable superstars from Showcase mode without you having to play through the mode to unlock them.
In the past, 2K Sports has said that the WrestleMania 40 Arena would be added to the game at a later date – this makes sense, given that WrestleMania 40 doesn’t take place until April 6 and 7, meaning we don’t know what the arena looks like yet.
However, what’s been less clear is that the five superstar attires (and their MyFaction cards) are also coming at a later date, meaning they actually aren’t available yet.
This is quite cheeky, because the official WWE 2K account on X has been posting screenshots of the DLC outfits, implying they’re available now, when they actually aren’t.
A message in the small print of the WWE 2K website reads: “Exact release date of Forty Years of WrestleMania Bonus Pack content to be announced post-launch and subject to change.”
What this basically means is that, at the moment, we don’t know when the content will arrive.
What it also means, however, is that if you’re frantically flicking through the character roster and wondering why the extra wrestlers you paid for aren’t there, you can at least be reassured that you haven’t done anything wrong, and everyone’s currently in the same boat.
