Warzone 2 best loadouts for Season 1 Reloaded
In this guide, we’ll show you the best meta weapons for Season 1 Reloaded
Warzone 2 best loadouts is the subject of this guide, where we’ll show you the best weapons for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded.
The new Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded update is live, and while it comes with a slew of changes, the weapon meta remains mostly the same as before.
Season 1 Reloaded featured plenty of nerfs to overpowered weapons like the P890 pistols, the Bryson 890 shotgun, and some of the game’s assault rifles.
This mid-season update also introduces the Chimera assault rifle, and while it’s a great choice, there are certainly better options. But which are the best loadouts this season?
Despite a large weapon pool, we’ve narrowed it down to eight meta weapons that you should prioritize using this season across various categories. These are the eight best loadouts for Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded.

Warzone 2 Best Loadouts – Season 1 Reloaded
The best Warzone 2 loadout weapons for Season 1 Reloaded are:
- Kastov 762
- TAQ-56
- TAQ-V
- Fennec 45
- Lachmann Sub
- RPK
- RAAL MG
- SP-X 80
WARZONE 2 BEST LOADOUTS: ASSAULT RIFLES
Kastov 762
- Muzzle: Polarfire-S
- Optic: Schlager 3.4x
- Underbarrel: Phase-3 Grip
- Magazine: 40 Round Mag
- Rear Grip: Demo-X2 Grip
When it comes to power, few weapons come close to the Kastov 762. This is the ideal assault rifle for skilled players, as it packs a punch, but can be a little unwieldy due to its recoil. If you can learn to control the Kastov, you’ll be able to fry your opponents at range.
With this loadout, it’s best to prioritize recoil control, bullet velocity, and range. Keep in mind, certain attachments will make the weapon a bit slower, so keep that in mind when challenging opponents.
TAQ-56
- Muzzle: Echoless-80
- Barrel: 17.5” Tundra Pro Barrel
- Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper
- Magazine: 60 Round Mag
- Rear Grip: FSS Combat Grip
The TAQ-56 hits hard as well, but is slightly less powerful when compared to the Kastov 762. However, the TAQ-56 is much easier to control, making it great for newcomers or players who don’t want to deal with aggressive recoil.
Another great thing about the TAQ is the iron sights, which are clean and easy to use. This frees up a precious attachment slot and allows you to focus more on recoil control and accuracy. It’s best to use the TAQ-56 for mid to long-range battles on Al Mazrah, though it works decently up-close, too.
WARZONE 2 BEST LOADOUTS: BATTLE RIFLES
TAQ-V
- Muzzle: Kastovia DX90
- Underbarrel: Phase-3 Grip
- Optic: Schlager 3.4x
- Rear Grip: FSS Combat Grip
- Magazine: 30 Round Mag
Next up is yet another powerful weapon, the TAQ-V. This is a high-skill battle rifle that hits like a truck. This is offset by its substantial vertical recoil kick, making it a little harder to use than other rifles in the game. However, if you learn to control its recoil, you will dominate your opponents with the TAQ-V.
By default, this only comes with 20 rounds, which simply isn’t enough. So we advise coming equipped with at least 30 rounds to ensure you have enough ammo to secure eliminations.
WARZONE 2 BEST LOADOUTS: SMG
Fennec 45
- Muzzle: XTEN RR-40
- Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
- Stock: FTAC Locktight Stock
- Underbarrel: FSS Sharkfun 90
- Magazine: Fennec Mag 45
When it comes to the close-range meta, the Fennec 45 is the top choice right now, at least in terms of time to kill (TTK). This SMG has an absurd fire-rate of nearly 1,100 RPM, making it the best choice up-close.
Now, this does come with its caveats. Its fast rate of fire causes it to blow through ammo, and this weapon isn’t useful past close-rage. But within 15 meters or so, the Fennec 45 is easily the top choice in the SMG category.
Lachmann Sub
- Muzzle: XTEN RR-40
- Barrel: FTAC M-Sub 12”
- Laser: 1MW Quick Fire Laser
- Magazine: 40 Round Mag
- Rear Grip: Lachmann TCG-10
For a more versatile option, we recommend the Lachmann Sub. This doesn’t hit as hard as the Fennec 45 but it’s a bit more practical in a general sense, as it’s capable of competing up-close and at mid-range.
The Lachmann is consistent, and has plenty of ideal characteristics such as its fast ADS speed and sprint-to-fire times. You can deck it out to prioritize mobility for close-quarters, or more of a mid-range weapon to use alongside a powerful sniper or LMG. Either way, it’s an excellent choice all around.
WARZONE 2 BEST LOADOUTS: LMG
RPK
- Muzzle: Polarfire-S
- Optic: Schlager 3.4x
- Underbarrel: VX Pineapple
- Ammunition: 7.62 High Velocity
- Rear Grip: Demo-X2 Grip
In terms of the best automatic weapon for range, the RPK is at the top of the meta. This is because it offers plenty of ammo, is relatively easy to control, and has lots of power, making it an ideal choice from afar.
Of course, it’s an LMG, so it’s a bit heavy and slow. This means you’ll want to do your best to pre-aim so you have an advantage over your opponents. You won’t be able to run and gun as effectively with this, but if you already have your target lined up, you’ll perform well with the RPK.
RAAL MG
- Muzzle: BVM-338
- Barrel: 21” EXF Rhino Barrel
- Laser: FSS Ole-V Laser
- Optic: Schlager 3.4x
- Underbarrel: SA Side Grip
On the flip side, the RAAL MG is harder to use than the RPK, but hits noticeably harder. In fact, the RAAL has one of the fastest TTKs in the entire game, making it a clear winner in terms of power. This is offset by its sluggish mobility and recoil, so you’ll definitely want to customize it accordingly.
For this build, we like to improve its recoil control and performance at range. Much like the RPK, you’ll have the most success at mid to long-range with the RAAL MG, so be sure to come equipped with an SMG for those close-range fights.
WARZONE 2 BEST LOADOUTS: SNIPERS
SP-X 80
- Muzzle: FTAC Reaper
- Laser: FSS Ole-V Laser
- Stock: PVZ-890 Tac Stock
- Rear Grip: Schlager Match Grip
- Ammunition: .300 High Velocity
Sniping isn’t what it used to be, as no snipers can secure one-hit eliminations to the head (to a fully-plated enemy). This means fire rate is far more important this time around, as you’ll frequently need to pull off follow-up shots to secure eliminations. With that in mind, we recommend the SP-X 80, a powerful sniper with a decent rate of fire.
This build works great at mid to long-range, allowing you to play aggressively, without sacrificing power. Sure, it doesn’t feel as snappy as the Kar98k from Modern Warfare, but it’s the closest thing we have in Warzone 2.
