The Venusaur promo pack event is out now.
Pokemon TCG Pocket events are overlapping already, setting the scene for resource-demanding promo cards and goals to chip away at.
Events in Pokemon Pocket can take place across many of its games and features. Wonder Pick and Solo Battle have both hosted events within the game’s first week or release, with room for online battle events presumably in place for the future.
All active Pokemon TGC Pocket events
Here are all the Pokemon TCG Pocket events running in-game right now:
- Venusaur Drop event
- Task: Defeat a Venusaur-focused CPU deck across four different difficulties for Promo Pack B cards.
- Dates: Nov. 28–Dec. 13, 2024.

Previous TCG Pocket events
- Fire Pokemon Mass Outbreak
- Task: Collect Fire-type Pokémon from special free and 3-cost Wonder Picks.
- Dates: Nov. 22–28, 2024
- Genetic Apex Emblem Event 1
- Task: Battle other players to earn Emblems, Shinedust, and other items.
- Dates: Nov. 7–28, 2024.
- Wonder Pick Event Part 1
- Task: Collect Promo Meowth or Chansey cards from special Wonder Picks.
- Dates: Nov. 1–15, 2024.
- Wonder Pick Event Part 2
- Task: The second half of the Chansey Wonder Pick event. Includes more missions and redeemables.
- Dates: Nov. 8–15
- Lapras ex Drop Event
- Task: Battle against four Lapras decks with scaling difficulties to win Promo packs containing 5 new cards.
- Dates: Nov. 5–18, 2024.
When is the next Pokémon TCG Pocket event?
All signs point toward a new Battle event arriving to Pokémon TCG Pocket on or around November 28 right as the Fire Pokémon Mass Outbreak and Genetic Apex Emblem events end.
The event is expected to be a Drop event similar to Lapras ex, this time pitting playing against a CPU with a Grass-themed deck focused on Venusaur.
Cards from the Fire Pokémon Mass Outbreak, like Arcanine ex will be a big help.
