Pokemon TCG Pocket codes for release (November 2024)

Latest update

With a new series of booster packs not far away, Pokemon TCG Pocket codes could arrive with the update.

Looking for Pokemon TCG Pocket codes? After some more free packs? You’re not alone. With the game now out of the door and into our pockets, potential promo codes are worth keeping eye on.

Pokemon TCG Pocket is a bite-sized approach to the classic Pokemon Trading Card Game formula. Designed to scratch the itch of opening packs and pulling rare cards, there’s a diluted way to build decks and do battle in a way our own Jordan Middler described as “the series’ Marvel Snap.

How do I redeem Pokemon TCG Pocket codes?

Pokemon TCG Pocket doesn’t appear to support promo codes just yet. There’s no obvious spot for them in-game whether you’re on Android or iOS.

Though redeemable freebies are fairly common in mobile games with  Monster Hunter Now codes, Pokemon Go codes, and even Pokemon Unite codes out there at launch, it isn’t unheard of for a game to add promo code support post-launch. It could just be a case of waiting a little while for an app update to add that sort of functionality.

What might happen is that a code screen is added to the Android version but not on iOS (iPhone/iPad). That’s another common mobile game scenario that’s down to Apple‘s App Store guidelines preventing in-game promotion delivery systems.

That means using a redeem website, like those used for Cookie Run Kingdom codes, could be on the cards instead. We’ll add the Pokemon TCG Pocket code redeem site here should one appear.

Can you use Pokemon TCG Live QR codes in Pokemon TCG Pocket?

No, the code cards you find in physical Pokemon TCG booster packs, decks, and boxes can’t be used in Pokemon TCG Pocket. They’re designed for Pokemon TCG Live. Things could change with the eventual release of trading between players, but it’s unlikely.
