Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Legendaries: Miraidon & Koraidon
Where to find Miraidon and Koraidon
The two box legendary Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet are Miraidon and Koraidon, which players will initially gain access to right at the start of the game.
You can find the second version of your game’s box legendary after you’ve battled it at the end of the Area Zero quest.
Because you can never trade the legendary you get at the start of the game, if you’re looking to complete your Pokedex, you’ll have to catch the other one and trade with a friend.
The extra Miraidon or Koraidon is just to the side of the area you battled it in the post-game.
Miraidon and Koraidon’s forms and how to upgrade
Miraidon or Koraidon will change into three different forms as the game progresses.
These three forms are:
- Running (when travelling on land)
- Swimming (when travelling in water)
- Gliding (when travelling in the air)
In order to regain Miraidon and Koraidon’s powers and upgrade their abilities, you’ll need to take on the Path of Legends and defeat the various Titan Pokemon lurking in the world map. Doing so will unlock their dash, swimming, high jump, gliding and climbing abilities.
How to use Miraidon and Koraidon in battle
In order to unlock the ability to use Miraidon and Koraidon in battle, you’ll need to play through the main story quest lines until you approach the end of the game.
Doing so will unlock a new quest sending you to Area Zero, which is where you will unlock Miraidon and Koraidon’s battle forms.
In order to activate this, you will need to have a free slot in your Pokemon party.

Where to catch Fezandipiti
Fezandipiti isn’t actually found where you first encounter it at the top of the hill, instead, you fight Fezandipiti in the area you chase it to, which we have marked on our map in our guide.
You don’t need to go through the cave system to get here, as Miraidon/Koraidon is able to rock climb to the area fairly easily.

Terapagos
Terapagos is the main new Legendary Pokemon introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Indigo Disk. The Pokemon featured in the game’s art, Terapagos is central to the game’s mystery, as are its new forms, which we won’t spoil here.
Terapagos can be caught during the course of the main story and is unmissable, so don’t worry about not getting the new Legendary Pokemon.
Pecharunt
Finally, the last new Pokemon introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Indigo Disk is Peacharunt, a new mythical Pokemon.
Teased in The Teal Mask, thanks to some dataminers, we know Pecharunt has an event tied to it, and that players will be able to encounter the Pokemon in the game’s epilogue.
