How to start The Teal Mask DLC

In order to start Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Teal Mask, you’re first going to have to buy the DLC pack, which is titled The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero. This pack contains both this first piece of DLC, as well as the second piece, the Indigo Disk, which will be released later this year.

Once you go to buy the DLC, you’ll have to make sure that you buy the Scarlet version if you’re playing that version or the Violet one if you’re playing that. For some reason, Pokemon splits its DLC as well, we have no idea why.

Then, you’re going to want to make sure your game is updated to the latest version, as this update is what actually contains the DLC, the thing you bought just unlocks it.

Once you’re updated and ready to go, head into Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

You’ll then be phoned by Jacq who’ll invite you to the land of Kitakami.

Go to the entrance hall at the school, and that’s how you begin The Teal Mask DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
