How to get Diamonds in Pets Go
Are they diamonds or gems? You decide
If you’re not sure how to get Diamonds in Pets Go, you’re probably just going about it the wrong way. This isn’t Pet Simulator 99, and how you get and spend these Diamonds (or gems, as some would say) is different.
Though they didn’t make it into the launch in early October, the famous Pet Simulator premium currency returned to see off the game’s first month of operation. But how you go about getting gems in Pets Go is entirely different to that of its predecessors.
How to get Diamonds in Pets Go
You can only get Diamonds in Pets Go by spending Robux in the Shop.
In fact, there’s a sign in the trading area that explains this perfectly; with a conversion rate to boot. You get 1,000 Gems for every 1 Robux you spend on Diamonds.
But you can’t buy just anything. Only Diamond packs offer Diamonds, but a few other packages can offer them as a bonus. The most expensive one doesn’t offer bonus Diamonds, either; instead dishing out stacks of high-grade Luck Potions to tempt you. Check out the packs below:
- 50 Robux = 50,000 Diamond (Claim the second Free item in the The Forever Pack)
- 125 Robux = 125,000 Diamonds
- 400 Robux = 400,000 Diamonds (single-purchase VIP package)
- 450 Robux = 450,000 Diamonds
- 1,600 Robux = 1,600,000 Diamonds
- 4,500 Robux = 4,500,000 Diamonds (50 Instant Luck Potion III, 15 Instant Luck Potion IV, and a God Potion)
Can breakables give Diamonds?
Despite the prop of Diamonds spilling from a typically breakable crate in the Trading Plaza, you won’t find breakable Diamond bags, crates, or chests in Pets Go. Unlike Pet Simulator X and Pet Simulator 99, you can’t find Diamonds in breakables or digging spots.
Though the Upgrade menu will mention Diamonds in a few perks, these never relate to spendable Diamonds. The Diamond Egg, for example, will only hatch pets at a higher base rarity. They will never include Diamonds.
What do Diamonds do in Pets Go?
Pets Go gems can be used in a couple of different ways: they can be spent to buy pets and potions from other players in the Trading Plaza or spent on upgrades like Elite Drops (better items from rolls) or Rainbow Rush (reduces Rainbow Dice to every 40 rolls).
They’re typically the only way to unlock final upgrades along a specific branch.
