Monster Hunter Wilds Weapons Tier List

Everything you need to know about weapons in Monster Hunter Wilds

Monster Hunter Wilds Weapons Tier List

In  Monster Hunter, the most important choice you have to make is what weapon to pick.

In order to make this process easier, we’ve come up with this Monster Hunter Wilds weapon tier list, which will give you an at-a-glance look at what we think are the most effective weapons in the game.

While no list like this can be definitive, and a huge part of the Monster Hunter experience is experimenting, if you’re a new fan of the franchise, it can be somewhat overwhelming.

It’s worth noting  that even though the game will ask you to pick a weapon at the start of the game, you can change weapons at any base camp, so don’t worry about being stuck with one for too long.

There is also an element of personal preference when it comes to any tier list, so when experimenting with weapons, make sure to try out all of them and find something that fits your playstyle. If you’re playing in a group, you should also think about what your friends are using, and which weapons will work well together.

Monster Hunter Wilds Weapons – How to upgrade weapons

Monster Hunter Wilds Weapons Tier List

To upgrade weapons in Monster Hunter Wilds, you have to go to the Smithy. You’ll need crafting items in order to upgrade those weapons, which are usually collected from hunting specific monsters. As you get further into the game, and the weapons get stronger, you’ll need to hunt the same monster several times.

In certain cases, there are monster parts that are only collected under certain circumstances, such as capturing the monster or attacking a certain part of the body.
