Monster Hunter Wilds: How to customize your Seikret

Monster Hunter Wilds introduces a new companion, the Seikret, but how do you make it your own?

The Seikret is the best way to get around Monster Hunter Wilds vast environments. The Seikret is fast, can climb, and can jump, making it an essential took for tracking monsters when they start to retreat.

With all the time you’re going to spend with the Seikret, you’re probably going to want to freshen up how it looks or make it match your elaborate armor. But how do you do that? How do you customize the Seikret and change its color? This guide gives you all the information you need.

Monster Hunter Wilds Seikret Customisation: What can you change?

Monster Hunter Wilds gives you a lot of options when it comes to Seikret customization. Once you reach the correct part of the game, from there you’ll be able to change the beast’s skin colour, inner feather colour, and more.

This is also where you’ll be able to customise the decoration type, or the armour of the Seikret. These armours are unlocked throughout the game, with some extra armours coming with the deluxe versions of Monster Hunter Wilds. These armours don’t have any effect on the Seikret itself and are just used as cosmetics.

Monster Hunter Wilds Seikret Customisation: How to unlock Seikret customisation

In order to customise your Seikret, you must first play enough of the game to unlock the Plains map. This will mean completing the first few hunts before you’re let loose into the first open area. Once you’ve done so, you’ll eventually be directed to Kunafa, Windsong Village, which is one of the first locations with other NPCs.

Once you have access to Kunafa, you will see a small Seikret icon appear your map. This will lead you to Nona, an important NPC. Speak to Nona and she will unlock the ability for you to customise your Seikret.

Doing this will also unlock the Seikret customisation option in the tent menu, which is also where you can customise your own appearance, your Pallico’s appearance and more.

You’ll also unlock the Ride-Or-Die Companion Trophy/Achievement.
