Modern Warfare 3 Tactical Stance: How to do tactical stance in MW3

Tactical Stance in Modern Warfare 3 is a new movement option in the game.

Combining several different stances, such as crouching, running and mounting, the tactical stance offers a new way to get around the maps of Modern Warfare 3 and take down your opponents.

Despite Tatical Stance in Modern Warfare 3 being a new addition, the game doesn’t make it incredibly clear how to do the tactical stance in Modern Warfare 3, which is especially annoying as it’s vital for certain challenges that you’ll encounter if you’re grinding out guns in the game.

You’re going to need to get dozens and dozens of tactical stance kills with pretty much every gun in the game if you’re going to unlock the elusive gold camo, forged camo, or interstellar camo.

But how do you do the tactical stance in MW 3? Read on

  • By default, you can do tactical stance in  Modern Warfare 3 by pressing down on the D-pad when you’re aiming down sights.

This will see your character hold his gun tilted to the side, which is the tactical stance.

Tactical stance in Modern Warfare 3 has advantages and disadvantages. For one, the tactical stance reduces your accuracy, as you’re not fully aiming down sights.

You can also move much faster when you’re in tactical stance, and hip firing in tactical stance is much more accurate than hip firing in normal stance, so if you’re the type of player that likes to zip around the map at full speed picking up kills, particularly if you’re using a shotgun, this is the stance for you.
