Modern Warfare 3 Prestige: How to Prestige in Modern Warfare 3

Prestige in Modern Warfare 3 is different from the classic Call of Duty Prestige system.

The the old Call of Duty games, hitting Prestige meant hitting the multiplayer level cap and then having all of your weapons taken from you to start the grind over again, this time with a new emblem on your account.

However, recently Call of Duty changed the way that the prestige system works, in favor of a season-based approach, and this returns in Modern Warfare 3.

How to Prestige in Modern Warfare 3

• Currently, you can’t prestige in Modern Warfare 3

Modern Warfare 3’s prestige levels will begin in Season One. Season One of Modern Warfare 3 will begin on December 6.

This will allow players to rank up beyond level 55. Before Season 1 starts in Modern Warfare 3, any XP that you earn won’t go towards your rank.

How to Prestige in Modern Warfare 3: Prestige Level Cap

Once the prestige system is added to Modern Warfare 3, there will be 5 levels of Prestige in the game. They are as follows:

• Prestige 1: Level 56 – 99
• Prestige 2: Level 100 – 149
• Prestige 3: Level 150 – 199
• Prestige 4: Level 200 – 249
• Prestige 5: Level 250+

This follows the same system from the previous Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer.
