Mermaid’s Gym Habitat Guide Pokémon Pokopia Bubbly Basin
Complete the tough Mermaid’s Gym habitat with this guide

Looking for all the elements of the Mermaid’s Gym Habitat in Pokémon Pokopia Bubbly Basin?
The Mermaid’s Gym is the final habitat in Pokémon Pokopia Bubbly Basin and the most complicated one to complete. This is because it requires multiple items that have been scattered across the maps as collectibles.
The only Pokémon that spawns at the Mermaid’s Gym habitat is Starmie, the ace Pokémon of Cerulean City gym leader Misty. In this Mermaid’s Gym Habitat Pokémon Pokopia guide, we’ve listed the exact locations of all the items you need to complete the Habitat and find Starmie.
Mermaid’s Gym Habitat

The Mermaid’s Gym Habitat is made up of the following items:
- Marine Sofa x 1
- Decorative Great Ball x 1
- Decorative Dive Ball x 1
- Decorative Lure Ball x 1
- Decorative Heal Ball x 1
- Decorative Net Ball x 1
- Decorative Quick Ball x 1
- Pedestal/exhibition stand x 6
Each of the Decorative Poke Balls can be found around the map. It’s possible to find treasure maps pointing you towards them, but you don’t need the maps to find them, and can just go to the locations listed below.
Mermaid’s Gym Habitat Decorative Great Ball location

To find the Decorative Great Ball, head to the Pokemon Center, and then turn left. Walk past the broken-down house, and take a right. Head down to the muddy area on the left, and opposite that, break through the wall. You’ll find the Decorative Great Ball here.
Mermaid’s Gym Habitat Decorative Dive Ball location

You can find the Decorative Dive Ball in the main town square. Look for an area with metal grating. To find this, start at the stairs leading into the town square, and look to the back right of the square. You’ll see metal material on the floor.
Break through the wall at the back of this area (towards the Cerulean Gym) to find the Decorative Dive Ball.
Mermaid’s Gym Habitat Decorative Lure Ball location

You can find the Decorative Lure Ball in the basement of Bill’s House. Find Bill’s House by crossing the Nugget Bridge and following the path around to the right. In Bill’s house, you’ll find computer equipment and the new Portal Pod.
Behind the Portal Pod there is a set of stairs that take you down into the basement. Smash through this area until you find the Lure Ball.
Mermaid’s Gym Habitat Decorative Heal Ball location

To find the Decorative Heal Ball, head to the northeast corner of the map, to the area with the red houses. Find the tallest red house that sticks out of the water, and stand at the front door.
Walk across to the shiny tiles, and on your left you’ll see a small patch of sludge. Find a Pokemon with the ability to clear it away (which is most water-type Pokemon) and then smash through it. Below this area you’ll find the Decorative Heal Ball.
Mermaid’s Gym Habitat Decorative Net Ball location

To find the Decorative Net Ball, head into Cerulean Cave and follow the train tracks. Before you come to the small office at the end of the tracks, smash the blue crystal wall on the left.
This is where you’ll find the Decorative Net Ball.
Mermaid’s Gym Habitat Decorative Quick Ball location

You can find the Decorative Quick Ball to the left of the main plaza in the Bubbly Basin. Come down the stairs from the entrance of the area, and turn left towards a breakable wall.
