Is Monster Hunter Wilds crossplay?
Group up with your friends on any platform in Monster Hunter Wilds

Monster Hunter Wilds crossplay is thankfully included in the game at launch. Crossplay compatibility is an essential part of modern multiplayer gaming, and thankfully, Monster Hunter Wilds doesn’t miss out.
Much like all of Monster Hunter’s multiplayer offerings, the Monster Hunter Wilds crossplay options are somewhat complicated.
However, with this guide, you’ll learn how to add your friends on other platforms, how to group up with those friends, and more.
Monster Hunter Wilds crossplay

In Monster Hunter Wilds, the crossplay is achieved via Hunter IDs. These essentially serve to build out a secondary friends list outside of your chosen platform. In order to find your Hunter ID, you should head to your Hunter Profile, where it will be displayed.
Once you find your Hunter ID, or get your friend’s Hunter ID, you need to go to the communication tab in the pause menu, and add them.
Once both players are on each other’s friends list, they can then go the Hunter Friend List and invite to a Link Party. If you’re not sure what a Link Party is, you should check out our multiplayer guide, which will give you an insight into the game’s multiple different ways to play Monster Hunter Wilds in a group, each more complicated and needlessly obtuse than the last.
