What time does the GTA 6 trailer go live?
The GTA 6 trailer release date and time have been the subject of much speculation for years now.
After what feels like an eternity waiting for new information on the next game, however, the GTA 6 trailer is just hours away.
In this article, we’ll tell you when the GTA 6 trailer will be made live, and whath this means for the game’s potential release date.
GTA 6 trailer release date and time
Rockstar finally announced last week when it plans to show the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6.
The studio announced last month that the game’s first trailer would arrive in December to mark the company’s 25th anniversary, but it didn’t give a date or time.
This changed last week, when Rockstar officially announced the GTA 6 trailer release date and time, to give us all a chance to prepare for it.
According to Rockstar, the first trailer will go live on Tuesday, December 5 at 9am ET / 6am PT / 2pm GMT.
GTA 6 trailer: Will the GTA 6 release date be announced?
Will the first GTA 6 trailer reveal the game’s release date?
At the moment, it’s impossible to tell, but based on previous GTA trailers we’d say it’s unlikely.
The first trailer for GTA 5 premiered almost two years before the game was eventually released, and didn’t give any indication as to when the game would come out.
As such, you can probably expect that the first GTA 6 trailer isn’t going to surprise people by saying it’s out in a few months or anything like that.
An educated guess would put the release date somewhere between April 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025, probably leaning more towards the later side of that window.
During an earnings call in 2023, Rockstar’s owner Take Two forecasted a sharp jump in sales during its next fiscal year beginning in April 2024, driven by the release of “several groundbreaking titles”, leading to speculation that GTA 6 could be released during this period.
Time will tell, however, and it therefore remains to be seen if the GTA 6 trailer will reveal the game’s release date after all.
