The path to the Nameless Village is blocked; however, if you explore the forest to the south of the road, it will take you into the village. There is a sub-boss fight here, which is often a cyclops. There are also some regular low-level enemies in this forest.
Once you reach the Nameless Village, you’ll notice that the first NPC tells you to go away. You should ignore him and press on forward, this will not make him or any of the other villagers aggressive towards you. You’ll not get much out of them, mind.
In order to progress the quest that sends you to the Nameless Village and find out more about its secret, head to the top of the hill and speak to the man at the back of the church.
He’ll give you the Legend’s Opus for Blades of the Pyre, a legendary ability for those using the thief vocation. You’ll probably also notice that there are several locked doors in the town, with no obvious way of reaching them.
From the building at the top of the hill, head to the bench that’s just outside, and then look directly north. You’ll find a ladder that leads to a deep cave. Inside this cave there is a large platforming section that you must complete to proceed.
This isn’t especially difficult, and if you are a mage you can even float over the majority of the section. If not, just run as fast as you can and jump, your character will grab onto the ledges and pull themselves up.
Once you’ve cleared these challenges, you’ll emerge into the Thieves Den. This whole village was a cover for the guild, and as a reward for finding it, you’ll be given a few high-level Thief items.
You’ll get the Thief’s Garters, the Peltflayers Daggers, and the Formless Feint ability. You’ll also get the item that allows you to complete the quest that you were sent here for in the first place, once you return to Captain Brant.
