How to breed eggs in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Egg breeding is a bit different in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
The daycare center, a staple of the Pokemon franchise is gone, so now you have to breed your eggs in a slightly different way, using the new picnic system.
In order to do this, you’re going to need two Pokemon who can breed, or one Pokemon and a Ditto, and then you’re going to want to start a picnic. You’ll notice that there’s a basket at the end of the picnic table, and this is where eggs will appear if you’ve bred them properly.
In order to get Pokemon to breed, you just have to have the right Pokemon in your party, start a Picnic and wait. This is a very quick process, one that can be made even quicker by making the right type of meal with an egg-boosting meal power.
After that, simply walk around with your egg in order for it to hatch.
