The PlayStation-exclusive quest, which sees players take control of a haunted Hogsmeade shop, is one of the most visually spectacular moments in the game. But how do you access it?

Hogwarts Legacy PlayStation-exclusive content

Hogwarts Legacy’s PlayStation-exclusive content includes:

• Hogwarts Legacy Haunted Hogsmeade shop quest.

While you’ll have to wait until the Winter season in order to complete this quest, you’ll get access to the Felix Felicis potion straight away. The Felix Felicis potion will reveal chests on the map for one in-game day, which lasts for 48 minutes.

Hogwarts Legacy Haunted Hogsmeade shop quest: How to start the quest

The quest itself is called “Minding Your Own Business,” and as the name implies, you’re given the chance to run your own business in Hogsmeade. You’ll speak to Cassandra Mason, who will offer you the business at an exceptionally low price, only 1,500 gold.

If you don’t have that kind of gold yet, you can easily acquire it by taking down some bandit camps, looting the chests, and selling the items. Legendary items can fetch as much as 200 coins per item.

You’ll have access to the quest after you complete the third keeper trial, so it’s a fairly late-game quest, although we’re not sure why it’s kept to so late in the game, as it’s not particularly difficult.

Hogwarts Legacy Haunted Hogsmeade shop quest: What is the quest?

Once you’ve reached the shop, you’ll soon realize that things aren’t quite what they seem, as the basement of the shop is haunted by a destructive ghost named Fastidio.

You’ll have to explore the basement of the shop, running into haunted creatures that lurk within.

The quest lasts around 50 minutes from start to finish, with the main dungeon itself being a fairly lengthy part of the game.

Hogwarts Legacy Haunted Hogsmeade shop quest: What is the reward?

For completing the quest you’re given the shop itself, which unfortunately isn’t as exciting as it may seem.

You’re not going to be collecting wares and selling them in the shop, instead, the shop becomes just another place where you can take excess items that you carry in your inventory.

The shop will remain on your map for the rest of the game, however, it’s unclear if the shop gains more inventory the longer you play. If you choose not to give the house-elf clothes, you can go back and do this at a later date.

Hogwarts Legacy Haunted Hogsmeade shop quest: When will it be on Xbox/PC/Nintendo Switch?

While a specific date for the content to appear on other platforms isn’t known, it’s believed that the quest will be exclusive “for at least six months,” according to the small print on marketing material associated with the quest.

It’s now been well over six months since the release of the game, and the DLC still isn’t available on other platforms. Our only guess is that an announcement for the DLC may be timed with the release of the Nintendo Switch version.
