Hogwarts Legacy eyeball chests: How to open Hogwarts Legacy eyeball chests

In order to open the Hogwarts Legacy eyeball chests, you’re going to need the Disillusionment charm. This charm, which is one of the early spells you learn in the game, makes you invisible when moving slowly, which will allow you to open the chests.

If a chest has spotted you, you simply have to break eyeline with it, then use the Disillusionment charm to sneak up on it, opening it and taking the gold inside. You can tell if a chest can see you as it will track you with its eye. If you’re not being tracked, it can’t see you.

In order to get the Disillusionment charm, you’ll have to complete the early game quest which takes you to the Restricted Section of the Hogwarts Library.

This is unmissable, so don’t worry if you’ve yet to get it. Simply proceed with the main quest, and you’ll learn the Disillusionment charm as one of the first spells in your repertoire.

The Disillusionment charm can also be used in combat to take ou even the toughest foes in the game, including trolls, without having to fight them. Simply use the charm to sneak up behind them and execute a takedown.
