Once you have your broom, you’ll start a series of side quests involving Albie Weekes, the owner of Spintwitches Sporting Needs in Hogsmeade.

Weekes will ask you to help test out his broom upgrades, which will become available throughout the main quest of Hogwarts Legacy.

In order to do this, you have to put the broom through its paces in a series of Time Trials devised by Imelda Reyes, a firey Scottish Slytherin student who can first be found on the Quidditch pitch. While you can’t Quidditch in Hogwarts Legacy, you’re free to explore a small version of the Quidditch pitch, although you can’t explore the stands.

These time trials are simple enough. However, we recommend going through the gold balloons as you make your way around the course, as doing so will allow you to refill your boost meter, making the times set by Imelda very easy to surpass.

Once you’ve completed the trials, return to Albie Weekes and he’ll then ask for some time to work on the next upgrade. Once it’s ready, he’ll contact you and ask you to return to the shop, and then do another time trial.  Completing all the trials earns the trophy/achievement “Flying the Good Flight”.
