These Pokemon aren’t caught in the wild, rather they’re given to the player by NPC. Most of the gift Pokemon can ONLY be acquired through this method.

Gift Pokemon: Sprigatito, Fuecoco & Quaxly
The first gift Pokemon you will get in the game is your partner. Sprigatito, Fuecoco & Quaxly are all offered to the player at the start of the game.
You can only take one of the three, and the other two DO NOT APPEAR IN THE WILD. This means that if you want to complete your PokeDex, you’re going to have to find someone to trade with.
Each of the partner Pokemon is level 5. Your rival will take the partner Pokemon with a type weakness to yours, so if you take the fire type Fuecoco, your rival will stake Sprigatito.
Gift Pokemon: Galarian Meowth
Galarian Meowth is given to the player by the teacher Salvatore in Uva Academy. Speak to Salvatore as your progress through the game, and more classes will unlock.
Once you exhaust Salvatore’s quest line, he’ll give you a Galarian Meowth as a reward.
Gift Pokemon: Koraidon & Miraidon
Koraidon & Miraidon are given to the player right at the start of the game, however, you can’t use them in battle until much later in the game.
Once you’ve completed Area Zero, and completed all four of the main quests, you’ll battle another version of your box legendary. Following this battle, you’ll be able to use Koraidon & Miraidon in battle.
