Fisch Treasure Maps – How to get, solve, and rewards

Fisch Treasure Maps – How to get, solve, and rewards

Managed to reel in a Fisch Treasure Map? Don’t know what to do with it? Let us guide you on your way to riches.

One of the many mini-games in Fisch is the Treasure Map system. It works in a similar fashion to Bait Boxes. You’re never quite sure if the effort is worth it. But unlike the Bait Boxes, searching for Treasure Maps is free. You simply pay in time and effort.

How to get Treasure Maps in Fisch

You can fish up a Treasure Map in Fisch just about anywhere.

The odds aren’t clear—though they’re likely quite slim—but the idea is you’ll reel them in accidentally as you aim to fish up other creatures.

You’ll know when you land a Treasure Map. The system prompt will tell you that you caught both a fish and a map.

Then it’s just a case of pulling it out of your inventory like you would when selling an individual fish or cracking open a Bait Box.

How to solve Treasure Maps in Fisch

First off, disregard the image on a Fisch treasure map. Using it while it’s in your hands will show a larger version on your screen. The image of the path between islands and that iconic X mark doesn’t actually mean anything. It’s for illustrative purposes only, as they would say.

The picture on a Fisch map is always the same. Look for the coordinates to find your treasure.

What you do want to pay attention to are the coordinates. With two axis listed as question marks instead, it’s not much use in its current state.

So, to solve a Fisch Treasure Map, you actually have to take it the Pirate in the cave on the Forsaken Shore. Grab your boat and make the trip.

From the main landing, you just want to head up and to the right. You’ll soon find a short cave with a view spanning further to the right.

Head to the grotto above the cove on the Forsaken Shore to uncover the treasure map coordinates.

Toward the end of this cave, you’ll find the pirate. Talk to him with the map in your hand and he’ll appraise it for a small fee, uncovering the final coordinates.

Now it’s time to use the Fisch GPS to head to the listed coordinates.

Treasure Chests can be on land or at the bottom of the ocean. The coordinates at sea level are 129 on the Y-axis. If your map reads lower, it’s in the water. Any higher and it’s on dry land.

Just get yourself within decent range of the X and Y coordinates, equip your Diving Gear if it’s underwater, and dive deep. You don’t need to hold the treasure map while you search: you should spot the chest at the bottom of the largely empty ocean without much trouble.

What’s in a Fisch Treasure Chest?

Some Fisch Treasure Chests contain a scratch card, whereas others can have Quality Bait Crates and Totems.

If you get a scratch card, use this from your inventory and click the four black circles at the top. Each number correlates to a prize from the list below the circles, meaning you have the chance to get four monetary rewards from a single card.

With prizes from 0C$ up to 2,000C$, you can realistically win up to 8,000C$ across the four numbers–easily covering the cost of the map appraisal fee.#
