How to craft rods in Fisch
Added in the Ancient Isles update, rod crafting in Fisch grants access to around a dozen new fishing poles—which is a good chunk of all rods in the game right now.
Unlocking rod crafting can be done on a fresh account, making it one of the best ways to get some of the best Fisch rods without a ton of money or a wide collection.
That’s because rod crafting is unlocked via the Ancient Archive. It’s a whole process, so click that link to see our dedicated guide.
With two of its necessary unlocks requiring absolutely no progress to obtain, so long as you have three other people willing to pitch in, you can unlock rod crafting on a fresh account.

How to get crafting materials in Fisch
Most items needed to craft rods in Fisch come from fishing. Like Bait Crates and Treasure Maps, you’ll have the chance to snag these alongside your usual catches.
Some, like the Golden Sea Pearl, can only be found in specific areas—vis Clams reeled in around Roslit Bay in this case.
