How to find the Fisch Keepers Altar location and relics to enchant rods
Who knew fishing could be this magical?
Fish up an Enchant Relic? Can’t figure out how to enchant rods in Fisch? Not sure where the Keepers Altar location is? We won’t let you get lost at sea.
Enchanting a rod in Fisch can grant it all sorts of crazy buffs and parameters. But doing so isn’t as easy as talking to a guy in the starting village and throwing down some cash.
How to enchant rods in Fisch
Enchanting a Rod in Fisch requires you to find a Enchant Relic.
Once you land one, holding it in your hands and pressing the usual action button will, instead of enchanting your equipped rod, display a message telling you to visit a Keepers Altar at Night.
You can fish up an Enchant Relic anywhere alongside your regular catch. The chance is very low (around 1/500 or less in Vertigo according to the official Wiki) and the effects are random, but you can buy Enchant Relics from Merlin on Sunstone Island for 11,000C$ each once you hit level 30.
Where is the Keepers Altar in Fisch?
Try as you might, you won’t find the Keepers Altar by looking at the location markers as you sail across the sea.
A Keepers Altar also isn’t the same as the inn keepers selling rest spots on each island. Those are beds, not altars.
So, to find the Keepers Altar, you need to go subterranean. And not through a whirlpool.
You’ll find the Keepers Altar beneath the Statue of Sovereignty–a small island north of the typical Moosewood spawn. You’ll see the text for this as you sail.
Once you reach the island, dock your boat by the Shipwright and you should see two ladders leading into the Mineshaft.
Press through the short tunnel until you reach Cole. Talk to him and hand over 400C$ to ride the elevator. Just interact with the controls inside to go down to the bottom of the shaft.
You’ll now be at the Keepers Altar. Once the sun sets, grab your Enchant Relic from your inventory and use it to enchant your equipped Rod.
What is the best Enchant in Fisch?
From around 21 Enchant possibilities, the best Fisch Enchants are generally those that benefit the most common rods.
Quality is a good Enchant for most rods. It’s a well-rounded buff that bolsters Luck, Resilience, and Lure Speed. You can benefit from that in a multitude of ways.
Second to that is probably the Scrapper Enchant. It grants a 60% chance not to consume bait. This can dramatically reduce the cash you spend on common bait or stretch the use of expensive bait.
Paired with something like the Rapid Rod, it can really help you earn a steady income.
Need some more cash for Cole? One of the latest Fisch codes might just give you enough to take a trip down the elevator.
