Fishing in the waters around the Winter Village World will always result in a limited event catch like Glass of Milk, Cookie, or ‘Santa’ fish. Unlike the Turkey, which could be reeled in anywhere, event fish are specific to this area.
You can also reel in presents of varying rarity. Crack these open to get C$ and more limited-time fish.
How to get to the Fisch Winter Village World
You can hop straight into the Fisch Winter Village World by using the Magical Snow Globe.
You should spot this in your inventory when you log in. If it’s not there, try opening some of the presents in your inventory instead.
How to leave Winter Village
From the Winter Village, you can teleport straight back to Moosewood by interacting with the mirror to the right of the spawn.
You can use the Magical Snow Globe as many times as you want, making it (and the trip back to Moosewood) quick and easy from anywhere. That makes visiting the Appraiser or selling a Megalodon a breeze.
You can also exit Vertigo without buying a Conception Conch or logging out.
How to complete Santa’s Quest in Fisch
You can begin Santa’s Quest by speaking to the Santa NPC at the end of the Winter Village. Use your Snow Globe to get there.
Santa asks you to by the Candy Cane Rod in the building to his left. Then just fish up 20 Fischmas fish from the Winter Village waters. You do not need to use the Candy Cane Rod.
Use whichever rod has the fastest Lure Speed to quickly score the Snow Globe bobber, Sleigh mount, and Santa’s Helper title when you return.
How to find the Runaway Elf in Fisch
Talk to Santa again to start the quest to find an Elf that stole his item.
Turn around and follow the trail of candy canes near the tree. You’ll soon come across the Runaway Elf location in a cave. Talk to him enough times to start the final quest.
This requires fishing up 45 more fish around the Winter Village, starting up the Present Machine in the building with the Candy Cane Rod, and delivering presents to the 9 elves dotted around the usual Fisch islands.
To start the Present Machine, head into Santa’s Workshop and interact with the little screen at the left end of the conveyor belt on the left side of the building. Match the identical numbers to get a Bag of Presents.
Now you just need to talk to the nine Elves dotted around the island. Talk to each Elf with the Bag of Presents in your hands to deliver one to them. Use the Bag of Presents to check which island elves you’ve yet to visit.
Winter Village elf locations:
- Forsaken Bay – At the end of the broken pier by the Shipwright.
- Roslit Volcano – At the very top of the mountain’s peak. Follow the candy canes through and back out of the volcano, then jump up and around its walls.
- Moosewood – By the Advent calendar.
- Statue of Sovereignty – Just above the Shipwright before you head up the ladder.
- Sunstone Island – By the Angler at the camp.
- Terrapin Island – Beneath the crane on the left side as you go up the landing ladder.
- Snowcap Island – Just beyond the Shipwright.
- Ancient Isle – On the low cliffs to the left of the Ancient Archive waterfall.
- Mushgrove Swamp – Just left of the Shipwright looking out at the ocean.
With all that done, shake the Snow globe to return to the Runaway Elf in the Winter Village cave to get 2,000C$, the Elite Crystal Bobber, Elite Helper title, and the Reindeer Cruiser boat.
