How to swim faster in Fisch
These could put the Shipwright out of a job
Still can’t get where you want to go while underwater in Fisch? You might need to learn how to swim faster in Fisch.
Assuming you can’t just hire a boat to get you to where you want to go, playing without increasing swim speed in Fisch might be limiting how far you can explore. There’s an easy fix, but it’ll take a nice ride, the right equipment, and quite a bit of cash.
How to increase swim speed in Fisch
To swim faster in Fisch, you just need to grab either set of Fisch Flippers.
Like the Diving Gear used to survive for longer underwater, Flippers in Fisch are available in two flavours: regular and Super. The standard Flippers increase your swim speed while equipped, with the Super Flippers increasing it a degree further.
The basic Flippers in Fisch can be found in both the Desolate Deep and Desolate Pocket and will set you back $9,000. You’ll likely need them to reach the Desolate Pocket: an important fishing spot with multiple uses.
The Super Flippers can only be found in the Desolate Pocket at the same merchant as the regular set. They cost a whopping $30,000.
Want to go even faster? If you have the coin, you can get the Tidebreaker contraption from the same vendor in the Desolate Deep. This $80,000 machine rivals even some of the best Fisch ships. It’s a major expense, but the time saved traveling can be worth the cost.
Are flippers worth it in Fisch?
The benefit to Flippers over a boat is simple: they’re always in your inventory. Rather than needing to keep your boat close or travel back to the Shipwright to spawn it again, purchased Flippers stay in your inventory forever, making traversing the waters easier across the board.
You’ll also be able to reach Strange Whirlpools and reach Vertigo at a moment’s notice.
