You won’t be able to get far in Fisch without Diving Gear. And while there’s multiple tiers, you can solve most of your problems with the basic one.
Available in two versions, Basic and Advanced, knowing where to find both equippable perks will dramatically open up the world of Fisch, helping you to uncover rarer creatures, new rods, and scary new areas.
How to dive for longer in Fisch
If you’ve grabbed the Fisch GPS in an attempt to find your friends in the Desolate Deep, you’ll end up dying on the way if you’re not prepared.
That’s because reaching the inner parts of the Desolate Deep requires more oxygen than you can manage at the start of the game. To fix that, you’ll need the Fisch Diving Gear .
How to get Diving Gear in Fisch
Basic Diving Gear can be found in Moosewood by a rock just right of the Shipwright.
So long as you haven’t changed your spawn, you’ll likely wind up back there if you attempt to swim down to the Desolate Deep without it.
Once you’ve purchased the Basic Diving Gear , just select it from your inventory. You’ll see your character hold the canisters if you’ve successfully selected it.
Then, all you need to do is click/tap anywhere else t equip it. You’ll see your character don scuba goggles. You’ll also gain canisters on your back. Just select another item to remove the pair you’re holding in front of you. You’ll keep the Diving Gear equipped, don’t worry.
With the canisters on your back, you’re ready to dive. Just jump into the water, head underneath, and you’ll notice your oxygen bar depleting at a slower rate. It won’t get any bigger, but it’ll last much longer.
To replenish the oxygen in your Diving Equipment tank, just come up to the surface, unequip your Diving Equipment, and put it back on again.
How to get the Advanced Diving Gear in Fisch
You can find the Advanced Diving Gear in both The Buoy and the Desolate Pocket. This will set you back $15,000.
The Advanced Diving Gear It increased your max oxygen to 230 seconds versus the Basic Diving Gear’s 150 seconds. The two Diving Gear allowing you to swim through the pockets of the deep for longer.
