How to open the Ancient Archives door in Fisch – All Fragment locations

Ultimately requiring the need for a few friends (or server strangers) to complete, the latest UPD 2 Fisch quest sends you down a perilous path to open a door that maybe should have stayed shut.

Where is the Deepsea Fragment in Fisch?

The Deepsea Fragment can be found under the water at the base of the Ancient Isle waterfall.

This is the one you should spot as you approach the isle through its dangerous waters.

There’s a high change you’ll need the Basic Diving Gear for this one. Keep pushing against the water while you press the button to collect it. It can take a few tries.

Where is the Ancient Fragment in Fisch?

The Ancient Fragment is potentially the biggest hurdle in opening the Ancient Isle door. You have to fish this one up, making it just as tricky as finding any other specific haul.

The Ancient Fragment can be reeled in at any main fishing spot on the Ancient Isle; whether that’s in the pond by the camp, near the waterfall, or anywhere else.

There’s no specific rod or bait necessary. Just keep fishing.

Where is the Solar Fragment in Fisch?

You’ll find the Solar Fragment at the very top of the Ancient Isle. From the main approach, take the zipline on to the right of the waterfall to wind up at the camp.

From there, find your way to the small peak directly above the merchant. Ride that zipline up to the Leedsichythys pod. Climb up to the top to. Jump up the cliffs to find the little yellow stone sitting at the peak.

Though you’ll see the Solar Fragment at any time, you can only pick it up during a Solar Eclipse. These have a low chance of occurring during the day, but you can speed things up with a Sundial Totem to skip the day/night cycle until one pops.

You can guarantee it with a Solar Eclipse Totem, but this will set you back a pretty penny.

Where is the Earth Fragment in Fisch?

From the location of the mountaintop Solar Fragment, position yourself so the Fragment is on your left and the large tree is on your right.

Head directly down a couple steps, then gently to the right. With each cliff drop, look for a fence gently sticking out ahead. Drop into here and you’ll find a cave behind the ivy.

Inside is a little shop with some items for sale. Grab the Earth Fragment in the middle (it’s free) and be on your way.

The coordinates for the entrance are approximately 5943, 269, 896.

How to get to the Ancient Archive in Fisch

With those collected, you should have what you need to open the door.

To get there, climb back to the top of the first waterfall. Get into the stream before it and hug the waterfall ledge as you fall back. You should land on a little lip.

Go to either side of the lip and do the same again. You should drop onto the ledge inside the water, giving you access to the cave inside the waterfall.

Interact with the rope by the hole here to spawn into the chamber.

How to open the door in the Ancient Archive in Fisch

Each member of your group then needs to step onto button by the pillar whose colour matches the fragment they hold in their hands.

Once everyone stands on the correct buttons with the correct item and rotates the pillar so that its emblem faces them, the door to the Ancient Archives will open.

The door will remain open for every player who rotated the pillars indefinitely. You can log out and change server and the door will remain open.
