Which gems do you need to solve the Secret Chamber puzzle in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
It’s a question that’s bothering players who are stuck in Olaf’s quest and want to be able to unlock him.
At one point in the mission you’re faced with six pedestals, but only three have gems in them.
This guide will tell you which other gems you need to solve the puzzle.
Disney Dreamlight Valley: What’s the Secret Chamber gem puzzle?
At one point in The Great Blizzard quest, you have to open a dark portal.
Once you’ve crafted the Dreamlight Prism and placed it on the pedestal on the Secret Chamber, the portal will open, but looks too dangerous.
Before you can safely pass through it, then, you need to solve a puzzle involving gems.
Leading up to the portal are six more pedestals, three of which have coloured gems on them – a red one, a blue one and a yellow one.
All the game tells you is: “Figure out which gems are missing in the Secret Chamber and replace them.”
Disney Dreamlight Valley: Secret Chamber gem puzzle solution
It may not be immediately clear how to solve the Secret Chamber gem puzzle, but here’s the solution.
The idea is that you have to place the colours of the rainbow on the pedestal in the right order.
This can be done with trial and error if you want, but if you can’t be bothered going back to your house and gathering every type of gem you have, here’s the solution:
- Place an Amethyst (purple) on the front pedestal next to the red one.
- Place a Citrine (orange) on the middle pedestal next to the blue one.
- Place an Emerald (green) on the back pedestal next to the yellow one.
Once you’re finished, it should look like this:
Once all the gems are in the right place, the portal will spring to life.
You can now enter it and continue your mission to free Olaf and add him to your Dreamlight Valley.
