Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to get Stitch
Find out how to find Stitch and add him as a villager in Dreamlight Valley
How do you find Stitch in Disney Dreamlight Valley? It’s a question many Lilo and Stitch fans have when playing Gameloft‘s popular life sim.
Stitch is indeed in the game – he was added in the game’s second major update in December 2022, along with the Toy Story realm.
However, while the Toy Story area is easy enough to find, and it’s similarly straightforward to add Woody and Buzz to your valley, Stitch is a different story.
In this guide we’ll tell you exactly how to find Stitch in Disney Dreamlight Valley and how to add him as a villager.

Disney Dreamlight Valley – How to find Stitch (Sock 1)
Stitch is different from other characters in the game because his unlocking process takes a minimum of 10 days to complete, so you’ll need to be patient if you want him in your village.
Before you can unlock him you need to have also unlocked Donald, because he’s involved in the quest that leads to Stitch’s arrival.
The first thing you have to do is head to Dazzle Beach and look around for a Slimy Stocking, which is a small grey sock on the floor in a puddle of grey goop.
The Slimy Stocking isn’t in any set place on Dazzle Beach, you just need to wander around and keep an eye out for sparkles on the ground.
Once you find it, take it to Donald and he’ll tell you he’s had a few things disappear from his house and is suspicious that something’s going on.
You’ll then have to search Donald’s house for clues, which you do by picking up the piles of trash on the floor. This will reveal a device, which you have to bring to Donald. He’ll tell you he thinks it belongs to aliens.
At this point, you can’t do any more, and you have to wait.
Disney Dreamlight Valley – How to find Stitch (Sock 2)
The second part of the process to unlock Stitch can’t take place until at least five days after you found the device in Donald’s house.
After five days have passed, a second sock will appear in Peaceful Meadow.
This one’s called Chewed-Up Sock, and it’s red. Again, its location is random, so keep wandering around and looking for sparkles.
The Chewed-Up Sock belongs to Goofy, so take it to him and you’ll then have to search his house for clues.
After picking up more piles of trash you’ll find some blue fur, which must then be taken to Donald.
He’ll scan it with his device to get a partial DNA match. But the process isn’t finished yet, and you’ll need to wait again.
Disney Dreamlight Valley – How to find Stitch (Sock 3)
The third and final part of the process to unlock Stitich requires you to wait another five days after Donald scanned the blue fur.
Once five more days have passed, the third sock, a Knitted Orange Sock, appears in the Forest of Valor (again, in a random place).
This third sock belongs to Merlin, so take it to him and, once again, you’ll have to clear the trash from his house while looking for clues.
After picking up the trash you’ll find a Mysterious Claw. Take this to Donald and he’ll scan it for a full DNA match.
Donald will then give you the device and tell you to place it on the island closest to Skull Rock on Dazzle Beach. Do this by heading to the island, bringing up your inventory and going to the Furniture tab.
Once you place the device, Stitch will land on the island. Talk to him, then talk to Donald, then all you have to do is place Stitch’s house wherever you like in the valley (again, using the Furniture tab) and pay Scrooge 10,000 coins to open it up, and you’re done – Stitch is finally a villager.
