How do you complete the Eggs-ceptional Decorating task in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

It’s a question players have been asking since the game’s new Eggstravaganza event started on April 8, 2023.

The task is one of four special missions that appear in the Village section of the Dreamlight Duties menu, but the game doesn’t explain how to complete it.

This guide will tell you how to solve Eggs-ceptional Decorating and what reward you get for doing so.

Disney Dreamlight Valley – Eggs-ceptional Decorating solution

Before you can carry out this task, you have to collect the eggs that can be found dotted around during the Eggstravaganza event.

There are three types of eggs to collect during the event – Wild Spring Eggs, Egg-cellent Fruit and Spring V-EGG-etables.

Wild Spring Eggs can be found on the ground, while Egg-cellent Fruit can be found growing on special bushes.

Spring V-EGG-etables, meanwhile, have to be crafted. To craft one V-EGG-etable Seed, you need one Wild Spring Egg, one Egg-cellent Fruit and 20 Dreamlight. After planting a seed, watering it and waiting 45 minutes, you’ll be able to harvest one Spring V-EGG-etable.

Once you’ve collected a healthy supply of eggs of all three types, you can use them to craft special egg-themed furniture.

The Eggs-ceptional Decorating task requires you to place four types of egg-themed furniture in your house or valley.

The four pieces of furniture that count for this task, and how to build them, are as follows:

• “Don’t Put ‘Em All in One Basket” Basket – 10x Wild Spring Egg, 10x Egg-cellent Fruit, 5x Spring V-EGG-etable, 20x Fiber
• Over Easy Chair – 5x Wild Spring Egg, 5x Egg-cellent Fruit
• Spring Egg Bounty – 15x Wild Spring Egg, 15x Egg-cellent Fruit, 15x Spring V-EGG-etable, 50x Stone
• Sunny Side Up Arch – 25x Wild Spring Egg, 25x Egg-cellent Fruit, 25x Spring V-EGG-etable, 10x Iron Ingot

Once you’ve built four pieces of furniture, place them in a room or outside and the task should be marked as completed.

For finishing the task you’ll be given a Tulip Lamp, an exclusive piece of furniture that can only be earned by completing Eggs-ceptional Decorating.
