Diablo 4 will feature a battle pass, and many players will already have purchased it thanks to the various editions of the game that offer it.

When does the Diablo 4 battle pass release?

• The Diablo 4 battle pass will release in mid-July

Blizzard hasn’t confirmed a specific date when the Diablo 4 battle pass will release. However, we do know that Blizzard is targeting “mid-July” for the release of the Diablo 4 battle pass.

You must complete Diablo 4 and be in the post-game to access the battle pass when it releases.

How much does the Diablo 4 battle pass cost?

• Free – The free tier of the Diablo 4 battle pass will be available to all players of Diablo 4. There will be 27 tiers of rewards.
• Premium – The premium tier of the Diablo 4 battle pass will cost 1,000 Platinum, which costs £8.39 / $9.88. This version of the battle pass will consist of 63-tier rewards.
• Accelerated – The accelerated tier of the Diablo 4 battle pass will cost 2,800 Platinum which costs £20.99 / $24.99. This version of the pass includes a skip for 20 tiers of the pass.

Players who purchase the Ultimate Edition of Diablo 4 will already have access to the Accelerated version of the battle pass.

What comes in the Diablo 4 battle pass?

Each new season of Diablo 4 will come with new seasonal content, such as cosmetic items, emotes, emblems and gold which can be used in-game.

Like most battle passes, these items will be unlocked by completing quests that are unique to that season of content, for example,  you’ll gain some battle pass experience for completing any dungeon on a given day, but more involved content like post-game bosses will provide more.
