Where to find Chi Yu and open the blue shrine Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Chi Yu is one of four legendary Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet that are locked in shrines. Ting Lu’s location can be found at any time, but actually battling the Pokemon requires going on a small side quest to remove stakes around the map.
You’ve probably come across a few of these multi-colored stakes during your time with the game, with four different stake colours in all.

Chi Yu Pokemon location: All 8 blue stake locations Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Chi Yu blue stakes can be found across the top right of the map. You have to remove 8 of these shrines in order to battle the legendary Pokemon Chi Yu. The only way to tell how many stakes you still have to remove is to return to the shrine and check how many chains are holding it down.
There will be four chains at the start, and for every two stakes you remove, one chain will disappear. Once you’ve removed them all, a short cutscene will play and the Pokemon will be ready to battle.

Chi Yu can be found at the shrine at the top of a waterfall in Fury Falls.
It’s found at Level 60 and is a Dark-type and a Fire-type.
