Charizard: Where to catch Charizard in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Charizard, Charmeleon or Charmander don’t appear in the wild in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, but that doesn’t mean you can’t add them to your team.

Unlike the large list of Pokemon that are confirmed to be unsupported in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Charizard is definitely coming to the game, albeit via raids.

It’s also possible that following the raids, Charizard, or any of its evolutionary line will be added to the game as part of DLC, as was the case in Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Charizard location: Unrivalled Charizard 7 star raid explained

Charizard will appear in 7-star Tera Raid Battles at black crystals from Thursday, December 1, at 4:00 p.m. PST to Sunday, December 4, at 3:59 p.m. PST.

Charizard will then reappear in black crystal Tera Raid Battles on Thursday, December 15, at 4:00 p.m. PST and will then leave raids Sunday, December 18, at 3:59 p.m. PST.

Charizard cannot normally be encountered in Paldea, and the Charizard appearing during this event has Dragon as its Tera Type.

7 Star raid Pokemon are rumored to be Level 100 battles, meaning you’ll need an incredibly high-level and very optimized team in order to defeat, and then catch Charizard.
