Beast of Reincarnation: Best Sword locations

The best Swords in Beast of Reincarnation and where to find them

Beast of Reincarnation: Best Sword locations

The most important part of your arsenal in Beast of Reincarnation is your Sword.

Your chosen Sword dictates everything from the elemental affliction you should focus on in battle to your damage output, of course. A good Sword can change everything in the right fight.

In this guide, we’re breaking down some of the best Swords you can get in Beast of Reincarnation. All of these Swords can make for excellent builds, and you shouldn’t miss any of them.

Once you have the best Swords in the game, make sure to combine them with the best builds in Beast of Reincarnation.

Thunderwave Sword – BoR

The Thunderwave Sword is actually weaker than most other Swords in the game in terms of raw damage output, but it has a special ability that makes it enticing even in the late game.

The Thunderwave Sword can drop lightning bolts on multiple nearby foes with every slash, adding to the Shock buildup the weapon already inflicts. It’s great for dealing with groups of enemies, as the Shock affliction can prevent them from ganging up on you.

You can find the Thunderwave Sword in the game’s second region, the Ancient Civilization Zone. You’ll earn it as part of the game’s main story, at the same time you earn the Thunder Stone.

Fall Thunder – BoR

The Fall Thunder is another weapon that can inflict Shock, but the base damage is higher than the Thunderwave Sword, in addition to higher Shock affliction. The downside is that it doesn’t get fancy lightning strikes.

It’s a more traditional weapon, but better suited to 1v1 fights than the Thunderwave Sword, particularly the tougher bosses of the game.

You can’t miss this Sword, as you’ll acquire it during Chapter 7, in the Giant Tree Zone. It’s carried by an enemy you must defeat in order to continue the main story, along with the Giant Tree Key.

Shark Cutter – BoR

The Shark Cutter is a strictly “normal” Sword, in that it doesn’t pack any kind of elemental ability. You won’t need it either, as each attack from Emma and Koo will have a boosted Critical Hit chance as long as this weapon is equipped.

It’s a simple buff, but that makes it one of the best weapons overall when it comes to raw damage output with no frills.

The Shark Cutter can be found in the Fuji Frontier Zone, sat right next to the Bridge Control Room: Approach campsite.

Hunter’s Sword – BoR

The Hunter’s Sword is the best weapon for inflicting Poison on your enemies, and the damage output is solid too.

The more you upgrade the sword, the more Poison buildup it can inflict. It’s pretty simple really.

The Hunter’s Sword can be found in The Great Wall Terraces. Speak with the Mysterious Golem (marked on your map as the Storyteller) sitting next to the Great Forest: Entrance campsite, and you’ll be able to collect the Hunter’s Sword from the shrine.

Hazebringer – BoR

The Hazebringer is an Acid Sword that will inflict Corrosion on unsuspecting enemies.

Corrosion is a powerful affliction to use if you’re built for it, and will devastate even armored enemies. Yes, the sword also has decent raw damage output for foes not weak to Acid.

The Hazebringer can be found in the Matsukawa Zone, inside the giant cube. Descend to the cube’s lowest levels, and when you go through a lab-like area, you’ll find the Hazebringer poking out of a plant on the wall.
