Beast of Reincarnation best builds: Most powerful builds in the game

Beast of Reincarnation’s variety of gear allows you to create some interesting builds.

Elemental afflictions are the most powerful ways to quickly deal damage in Beast of Reincarnation. The best builds combine a Sword, the correct Ammo types, Spirit Stones, and even Koo must be built accordingly.

In this guide, we’re breaking down everything you need to know to create a powerful build in Beast of Reincarnation, and we’re explaining the builds we used to complete the game.

Beast of Reincarnation builds explained – BoR

When creating a decent build in Beast of Reincarnation, these are the things you need to keep in mind.

1. Sword
2. Arrows/Bolts
3. Spirit Stones
4. Koo Bloom Arts
5. Koo Charm

The best builds we’ve found in Beast of Reincarnation have been elemental builds. You should ensure the element of your Sword is the same as that of your Arrows and Bolts, in addition to Koo’s Arts and Skills, if possible.

If you can find complementary elemental attributes for all of your weapons and abilities, you’ll be able to inflict your chosen affliction on the enemy more often, and more easily. This is how we battled through to the end of Beast of Reincarnation.

Best Shock build – BoR

This is our best Shock build suggestion. Shock will paralyze foes for a short time, allowing you to use your strongest attacks and combinations. This is incredibly useful against bosses.

• Sword: Thunderwave Sword or Fall Thunder
• Arrows/Bolts: Lightning Arrows and Bolts
• Spirit Stones: Homing Shots, others optional
• Koo Bloom Arts: Javelin
• Koo Charm: Anything with Shock ability

As you can tell, everything in this build revolves around the Shock affliction. The Thunderwave Sword is one of the weaker weapons in the game, but it summons additional lightning strikes that can hit multiple foes. For 1v1 situations like boss battles, the Fall Thunder inflicts more Shock to a single foe and has higher overall damage.

Lightning Arrows and Lightning Bolts will boost Shock buildup whenever enemies retreat, and they can be enhanced with the Homing Shots Spirit Stone. Koo’s Javelin Art will also inflict Shock, and if Koo’s Charm has the Shock ability, that ensures all of her normal attacks will help build Shock quickly. Stack all of these modifiers together, and enemies will barely be able to move.

Best Poison build – BoR

Poison affliction doesn’t slow enemies down at all, but it does massively increase how fast their health goes down in the midst of battle. When enemies are poisoned, they’ll passively lose health over time, and consistent reapplication of the Poison affliction

• Sword: Hunter’s Sword
• Arrows/Bolts: Poison Arrows, Poison Bolts
• Spirit Stones: Homing Shots, others optional
• Koo Bloom Arts: Dokuzeri: Fang
• Koo Charm: Anything with Poison ability

The Hunter’s Sword is the only Sword we’ve found that inflicts Poison. Likewise, Dokuzeri: Fang is the only Poison Art that Koo can learn.

Of course, coupling these with Poison Arrows and Bolts in addition to a Poison-inflicting Charm for Koo will increase the rate of Poison buildup, making this build still incredibly effective.

Best Acid build – BoR

When you have an Acid build, you inflict Corrosion on enemies. Corrosion will slow enemies down and can tear apart the defenses of armored foes.

• Sword: Hazebringer
• Arrows/Bolts: Acid Arrows, Acid Bolts
• Spirit Stones: Homing Shots, others optional
• Koo Bloom Arts: Nobudou: Burst
• Koo Charm: Anything with Corrode ability

We only found one Acid Sword to use, being the Hazebringer, but it’s very effective. Nobudou: Burst is also the only Acid Art Koo has access to.

Much like the other builds, you’ll need to use your ranged weapons to build Corrosion from a distance – easier with the Homing Shots Spirit Stone – and then make the most of it with close-range combination attacks when Corrosion finally hits.
