How to beat the God Statue in Anime Vanguards
That 4/4 marker is the key
Stuck trying to beat the last boss of Anime Vanguards’ launch day story mode? Here’s how to kill the God Statue in Anime Vanguards’ Double Dungeon Disaster stage.
This guide simply covers how to defeat the God Statue you’ll find at the 3-6 stage of Anime Vanguard’s first bunch of story missions. If things are any different on Nightmare or Legend difficulties, we’ll detail those steps in time. Right now, this is for all the newcomers flocking to the biggest Anime Roblox TD game of the year.
How to beat the God Statue boss in Anime Vanguards
On Wave 15 of the Double Dungeon Disaster stage, the mob spawns end with the arrival of the God Statue. That’s the sitting goliath that’s been beaming down your units in the six stages before.
Send your best units at it all you want – the God Statue won’t take damage. Notice that 4/4 marker at the end of its health bar, though? That’s the key to beating the Anime Vanguards God Statue that threatens to keep you from the end of the base game story.
To damage the God Statue, you need to actually destroy the four marked statues around the stage. There are more than four total, so look out out for the crosshair markers above the correct ones. Their health bars are even further above, obscured slightly by their distance.
To damage the statues around the Double Dungeon Disaster stage, you need to place units in range of them. You can stick them by their feet. This just means you’ll want to save some cash for the final wave. Selling your current units to fund your statue-killing efforts will only make it harder to take down the God Statue when the time comes.
If you have a couple Legendary units on your team, one at each statue should be enough. The God Statue itself moves at such a slow pace that they’ll be able to dispatch the normal statues long before it approaches the exit.
If your units aren’t quite as powerful, though, you’ll want to consider placing your best further down the path at the very beginning of the match. That way you won’t risk the God Statue passing them by before you’ve managed to take down the smaller ones.
Once all four statues are down, the 4/4 marker on God Statue will disappear, revealing its final HP tally.
At that point on, units within range will deal normal damage to it. A couple Obitas can burst it down in no time at all, but Legendary units with a couple upgrades will make light work of it, too.
God Statue doesn’t have any additional forms: you don’t need to worry about it replenishing its health pool.
